Why did you decide to open a Venn Account?
We are long-time, passionate supporters of the Minnesota Children's Museum (MCM), but we had never considered making a PRI before. Supporting Venn's PRI to MCM through a Venn Account made it easy to provide PRI capital on generous terms to the museum and to do so in partnership with many other donors. Our foundation was able to provide leadership support to this PRI and then mobilize others to join us through a challenge match.

What is one Venn PRI you are proud to have supported?
We are proud to be supporting Venn’s PRI to the Minnesota Children’s Museum (MCM), which plays an important role in our community. It’s also a financially sophisticated organization. Many people may not be aware, but MCM is a nationwide leader in creating traveling children’s museum exhibits, which have reached more than 30 million children and adults across North America. Not only do these traveling exhibits directly advance the museum’s mission, they also provide an extra $1 million annually to MCM’s general operating budget. Because these exhibits generate revenue, they can be financed with loans and not just with donations. This makes PRI’s a really compelling tool.
